Clemson University D1 Women's Rowing Team
I have been on the women's rowing team at Clemson University since Fall of 2013. I was a recruited athlete, and with my 3 years as a Clemson student athlete, I have been rowing competitively for the past 9 years. My practice schedule includes 20+ hours per week of required and optional workouts, along with team building exercises on top of all academic requirements.
The Student-Athlete expectations and requirements help develop mental toughness, a strong work ethic, strong time management skills, the ability to work well in a team, leadership skills, and focus on goal achievement.

Be A T.I.G.E.R. Field Day: Head of Vendors
I have been volunteering at the Be A T.I.G.E.R. Field Day Vendor Committee for the past three years. Be A T.I.G.E.R. Field Day is a community event put on by the Clemson Student Athletes each year. Throughout the year, student-athletes reach out to local youth (grades K-8) through the Be a T.I.G.E.R. program. We teach kids about Teamwork, Integrity, Gratitude, Education, and Respect; the T.I.G.E.R. traits. The culmination of all of our various programs throughout the year is the Field Day. This past year I took over as Head of the Vendors Committee, directing a team of three individuals to organize, direct, and assemble 13 different vendor groups volunteering at the event. My responsibilities included reaching out to possible vendors, organizing and approving activities, organizing vendor booths at the event site, overseeing various vendor booths throughout the event, and managing a team.
